Three is five years old and Four is four. School for them looks fairly simple and it is. They do a reading lesson with me every day (Three reads from the Magic Tree House series to me--2 pages a day and Four is on lesson 40 in Teach your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons). They both read well but it takes years before they can be trusted to be independant readers.
I use Right Start Math with both of them but they are on different lessons and They both copy for their writing and I teach them a piano lesson each day. I am not a great pianist at all but I know technique and I am a stickler about it. Usually these two can get through their work by 10 or 11 in the morning.
How do you teach this age of child?
